HEAVYWEIGHT
WHAT IS A HEAVYWEIGHT CLASS?
REBL HEAVYWEIGHT is a 55-minute class designed to push your limits and ignite your passion for weightlifting. In this intimate 8-person workout, we blend boxing with the strength and muscle-building benefits of weight training, creating a workout experience unlike any other team workout. We have a different workout each day, so you’ll never get bored!
All of our Heavyweight classes are beginner-friendly. We’re here to provide you with a safe space to grow and push you to try new things. We do everything as a community here! Our goal with our Rebl Boxing classes was to make real boxing accessible for everyone and with Rebl Heavyweight, we’ll do the same—no need to pay $80 to $100 for a personal trainer. We’re bringing you all that knowledge for as little as $25 per class. Learn how to lift heavy and safely with your friends with the guidance of your fave coaches at Rebl.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
In our HEAVYWEIGHT class, your weight training is limitless. Your coach will help you select a load personal to your goals allowing you to lift heavier weights safely and effectively. As well as dumbbells and barbells, we’ll expose you to a variety of new equipment such as kettlebells, cable machines, TRX, and barbells. New stimulus is amazing to keep your workouts feeling fresh and new.
We also use our 5 pieces of specialized cardio equipment: the Rogue Echo Bike, Concept 2 ski and bike erg, a curved Assault runner, and the Torque Tank magnetic sled for a cardio injection.
This type of weight training is impossible in large groups for safety reasons. The intimacy of this 8-person class allows it to feel like semi-private personal training.
Why lift heavy? Heavy weight training gently overloads the body. This combined with consistency will allow you to grow your muscles leading to a change in body shape, reduced likelihood of injury in activity, and a faster metabolic rate.
This wouldn’t be Rebl without boxing! Your boxing training in this strength class will be partner pad work, a very different and fun way to improve your boxing training. Pad work will improve your accuracy and timing and you’ll have a ton of fun with your partner in the process.
